Code of Conduct

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

This code of conduct shall apply to all players.  Any breach thereof shall be to disciplinary action by the appropriate governing body.

"For the Good of the Game"

I will not engage in the use of any inappropraite or absive language that may be deemed offensive or engage in any conduct detrimental to the image of the game on or off the pitch.

I will not argue and/or dispute any decision with the referee and/or assistant referee, regardless of the decision they make.

I will treat participants, officals and spectators with respect.

I will abide by the laws of the game and take responsibilty for any fines I incur.

I will cooperate with my coach, team mates, referees and club/game officials.

I will not use any banned substance or drugs of dependance during my involvment with LSC.

I will not bring alcohol to any game involving junior players.

I will display good sportsmanship at all times.

Metro/State players will arrive at the game in full LSC apparel.

I will not use social media in a way that could harm the reputation or position of LSC or a fellow LSC member.

When using social media I will:

- be repectful at all time. (LSC Facebook page is used by players of all ages, not just adults)

- Be clear about who I am representing.

- Take responsibilty for any comments I make about LSC, its players, parents, coaches, committee, opposition and sponsors

(Any breach of the player code of conduct via social media may result in disciplinary action by the committee, including exclusion from LSC)

I will commit to the travelling involved for all games and training sessions.

I will advise the coach of any inability to play/train as soon as possible

I will respect the facitlies being used.

 

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

This code of conduct shall apply to all parents/guardians.  Any breach thereof shall be subject to disciplinary by the appropraite governing body

"For the Good of the Game"

Remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, not yours.

Encourage children to participate, do not force them.

Focus child's efforts and performance rather then winning or losing.

Encourage children to always participate to the rules.

Never ridicule or yell at a child for any reason - support and appropraitely measured positive feedback achieves best results.

Remember that children leatrn best by example - applaud good play by all teams.

Suport all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activites.

Respect officals' decisions and teach children to do likewise.

Show appreciation and repsect for coaches, officals and administrators - without them your child could not participate.

Commit to the travelling that is involved for all games and training.

Advise the coach of any inability to training/games as soon as possible.

Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.  The coaches have been provided with appropriate training to perform this role.

Drinking alcohol is not permited at any games involving junior players.

Take resposibilty for any fines incurred by you child.

Respect the facilties that are being used.
