Wet weather 20th May/Team Photos and games update/ New Times reminder
As you're probably aware, we are in for a wet weekend. What does this mean for games and scheduled photos?
1. ASSUME ALL GAMES WILL BE ON!!
The Junior team will be at the grounds early to decide if Miniroos (U6-U9) will be cancelled. The players safety is the only priority.
As Junior games are governed by Capital Football, these will be on unless (a) a club or referee deems the grounds to be unsafe for play; (b) there is lightning; (c) Active Canberra shuts all ACT Sportsgrounds.
If the decision is made regarding Miniroos, we will post on Facebook & the club website or call 041161707 for a recorded message . Assume it's on until otherwise advised by coach or manager.
NOTE: we give our players every chance to play their games....rain, sleet, snow or shine.
2. PHOTOS WILL GO AGEAD AS SCHEDULED!
The photography company have large marquees etc...to take all team photos PLUS they cannot reschedule due to being fully booked for the season. So please come and have your team's photos done at your allocated time.
So be prepared and get your raincoats, umbrellas and gum boots ready!!
