Games 10 August are ON
**ALL GAMES WILL BE ON AT WARAMANGA TOMORROW**
This is to confirm that games will go ahead on Saturday 10th August, despite the cold temperatures.
Football is a winter sport and in Canberra, we experience extremes. Unless ACT Sportsgrounds close the fields or the club seems the grounds to be unsafe after excessive rainfall, we play (rain, sleet, wind, snow or shine).
The Miniroos can wear extra warm clothing underneath their tops and tracksuit pants, beanies and gloves.
The Juniors must adhere to the Capital Football regulations where clothes under their tops and shorts must be club colours. Some referees may allow beanies however they is at their discretion as it’s against he regulations.
The Seniors play as usual. ⚽️
However if your team decides to forfeit (which we do not encourage) you must advise the Junior Chair via email ASAP - (junior_chair@wmfc.org.au)
Note: In the event of heavy rain overnight, a wet weather cancellation notice will be posted on Facebook plus a message on ABC Radio 666, by 8am on the Saturday (after fields have been assessed by grounds staff and our referee coordinator).
