Pre season Core skills development for Open U10-18 teams
Hi everyone,
Due to ACT Sportsgrounds shutting all fields for annual maintenance from 18-31 March, WMFC have a managed to book the Melrose Enclosed Field at Pearce (next to Melrose High School) on Sunday 18 & 25 March.
We will be running core skills training sessions for all players in WMFC Junior Open Divisions from U10-U18s. These sessions are free of charge and are part of the WMFC Junior Development Strategy. We will need some junior coaches to attend the relevant age sessions (please contact me directly to offer assistance).
Below is a schedule for your child’s session:
SET UP FIELDS - 9.30am (help needed)
U10s - 10.00am to 11.00am
U11s - 11.15am to 12.15pm
U12 & U13s - 12.30pm to 1.30pm
U14 & U15s - 3.30pm to 4.45pm
U16 & U18s - 5.00pm to 6.15pm
PACK UP FIELDS - from 6.15-6.30pm
NOTE: all players MUST be registered with WMFC and MUST have shin pads and water bottles. Toilets will be open but there won’t be a canteen operating. There will be ice and a first aid kit provided by the club for use, if required.
I would very much like at least a couple of coaches for each age group PLUS a couple of parents to mark players names off lists in each session.
I will be running the day so all assistance greatly accepted.
