Canteen/Duty Officer Roster
Info for Coaches, Managers and Parents:
A $50 fee has been added to each player's fees. This $50 is fully refundable if you (parent / guardian) complete:
- minimum 3 Duties- Under 6 and 7
- minimum 4 Duties- Under 8 and up
A duty is any of the following: Canteen assistant (45min), field set up, duty officer, field pack up. Coaches and managers automatically receive a refund and do not need to undertake any duties.
There is a duty register book at the canteen. You must sign and date when you undertake any duty and write what duty you performed. The player names are arranged by team. If you don't sign, you don't get the refund.
If you have already completed your required duties we are more than happy for your continued assistance.
Small Sided Football.
6/7 years: All games will be played in the area in front of the canteen. The pop-up goals are stored in the container furthest from the canteen. If your team has been designated to set-up, please be at Adamstown Park by 8.15am.
During the game, the Coach will be responsible for co-ordinating the game. Yellow vests will be provided
The teams playing last will be responsible for putting away the pop-up goals.
8/9 years: All games will be played in the vicinity of Mandalong Park. On most game days, two fields need to be set-up. The goal posts are kept in the container furthest away from the Canteen. If your team has been designated to set-up, please be at Adamstown Park by 8:15am. You are also responsible for placing corner posts and using markers for the sidelines.
ARJFC will be providing “referees” for the games. Please remember the “referees” need your support and encouragement; make sure that all players, parents and spectators abide by the Code of Behaviour.
The teams playing last will be responsible for putting away the goals.
10/11 years: All games will be played on Ground 2. The goal posts are kept in the container furthest away from the Canteen. The goal posts will need to be put together, so it’s important that you organise volunteers from your team to be there by 8.15am. You are also responsible for placing corner posts and using markers for the sidelines.

The teams playing last will be responsible for pulling apart the goal posts putting them away.
Graded Teams.
The nets are kept in the wheelie binsIn the home dressing shed for both amenity blocks . You will also find pegs, corner posts and a step ladder. Remember, the red tag on the nets goes on the top. Benches are also found in the home dressing sheds.
The team playing last has the duty to pull down the nets, collect the pegs and corner posts, all put back into the wheelie bin; plus benches and return them to the home shed.
Canteen Duty.
Every team must provide volunteers to assistant in the canteen. A roster will be circulated to teams via your Manager.
Generally most teams must provide 3 to 4 volunteers. Please note, for teams that share the same time, eg. U6/7s, two persons per team are required.
The roster is organised, except on the odd occasion, so that canteen duty occurs before the commencement of the game or after the game finishes.
There will be a Canteen Manager in the canteen. They will oversee the activities and allocate tasks.
Duty Officers.
The Duty Officer is the Club representative and is responsible for ensuring players; coaches; managers; parents and spectators abide by Football Federation Australia’s code of behaviour.
The Duty Officer will wear a bright yellow vest so they can be identified and wear the vest during the players home game. You need to organise one parent. Vests are kept at the canteen.
The Duty Officer is also there to support referees should they request assistance.
If the Duty Officer needs assistance they should immediately come to the canteen and seek assistance from a Committee Member.
Remember this is your Club and benefits gained from canteen are utilised to purchase footballs, equipment etc and specialised coaching. In addition set-up of equipment, putting away and duty officer ensures that players have the best possible environment to play football.
