ARJFC does our best to keep everyone happy but can't guarantee your child will be in a team with school friends. We cannot guarantee that younger players can play up a year to be with friends or siblings. It's dependant on numbers in age groups.

 

Players who have not played in a Football Australia recognised competition need to bring their Birth Certificate or Passport to a Club Registration Session so we can sight it.

WHILST WE TRY OUR BEST TO PUT YOUR PLAYER IN THE TEAM THAT YOU HAVE REQUESTED WE CANNOT DO IT 100% OF THE TIME. A NUMBER OF FACTORS CAN INFLUENCE THIS DECISION I.E AGE RESTRICTIONS, NOT ENOUGH/TOO MANY PLAYERS IN TEAMS, PLAYERS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS NOT REGISTERING, NEW PLAYERS COMING IN TO THE CLUB ETC. ETC 

Please remember that the Club is run by volunteers. We all have full time jobs. Whilst we do our best to take your enquiries in working hours it isn't always possible. A Committee Member will call or email you back as soon as they can but may not always be able to take calls when you ring.

NEW Coaches and Managers will each receive a Club Polo Shirt.

Players and Officials are encouraged to wear their Club Shirt to games and training.

In 2024 MiniRoos Players will need to purchase their PLAYING Shirt, PLAYING shorts and PLAYING socks at a Club Gear Fitting Night. Interdistrict (12-14) will only need to purchase Shorts and Socks as they have a Playing Shirt included in their fees.

We are holding two gear nights in March 2024, Monday 04/03/2024 and Wednesday 06/03/2024 so you can try them on before you buy and will have stock on hand for you to purchase on the night. If we don't have your size, we will order it in for you from Karna Sports.

Playing shirt, shorts and socks will cost $95.00 and you can purchase them with EFTPOS at the Club Gear nights at the Clubhouse.  Shirts $45.00 Shorts $30.00 Socks $20.00  

Interdistrict Competition Teams (Ages 12-18) have a Playing Shirt included in their fees as they are moving into a new style shirt for Season 2024. Your Fitting Night will be Thursday 07/03/2024 from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm at The Clubhouse.

MiniRoos Gear Try and Buy Nights Monday 04/03/2024 and Wednesday 06/03/2024 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm @ The Clubhouse Adamstown Park.

MINIROOS: If your Playing Shirt, Shorts and Socks from last season still fit you won't need to purchase new gear. The Club does not hold spare shirts so please make sure your shirt from last season fits before the season starts.

U5/U6 should receive a free ball and shin pads courtesy of Newcastle Football and Newcastle Perm. The Club will also provide a Training shirt to every fully paid and registered Juniors Player. How good is that?

The Cost of Registration for Small Sided Football and Inter-district Teams is as follows (Approved by Newcastle Football)

This is at NNSW Football and Football Australia's direction. They have given all Club's a list of things that cannot be included in the fees e.g. Season Launches and/or Club Presentation Days as these may not be attended by all Players.

Small Sided Football players

U/6 and 7 – $255.00  

U/8 and 9 -  $285.00

U/10 and 11 - $285.00

Competition Players 

U/12 to U18 $385.00

O30 Women $495.00

Newcastle Football require the full registration fee when players are registered and as such players will not be registered until they are financial.  There are NO weekly fees throughout the year. 

Fees can be paid by direct deposit to the Club’s Bank Account as follows:

Remember to include the Player’s Name and Age Group.

ARJFC’s Constitution states that a Club Membership fee of $1 per person is payable by people wishing to become members of ARJFC. This applies to parents of minor aged players, adult players and/or non playing personnel i.e. Coaches, Managers. Membership needs to be renewed each season. We would like at least one parent from each family to become a member. The Club needs a strong membership to grow and prosper.

Prospective members must be accepted by the Committee.  

Membership entitles you to vote at the AGM. The Club Membership Form Link is at the top of the Registration page, along with the AGM Nomination and Proxy Forms Link.

New players are most welcome, so please spread the word.  The Registrar must sight a birth certificate or passport when new players register. A copy is acceptable. Once sighted the document is not required to be held by the Club. 

SUNDAY COMPETITIONS FOR FEMALE PLAYERS turning 12 and up to 18 years old are usually available.

The club’s commitment to Female Football is ongoing.

CLUB FEES INCLUDE THE COST OF:

Training and match balls, maintenance and repairs, ground maintenance, nets, Junior Development, community coaching courses, vandalism repairs, Club House maintenance, administration costs, insurance, fines, advertising, equipment repairs, floodlighting, Competition Registration Fee and Newcastle City Council fees.
