WELCOME TO SEASON 2021
On behalf of the Warners Bay Football Club committee, I would like to welcome you all and hope you enjoy the 2021 season. This introductory information should be used by all players and parents and carers to assist with getting the season started. The registration period can sometimes be a difficult time, so if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the committee.

Team Identification Day 7 February 2021
For all players from u6’s & up please see the “Player Registration” section of the website for team identification day. Player grading for 2021 was done late last year, however there may still be vacancies in some teams. Only players that want to play in Development teams were required to grade, all other players will be required to attend the clubs team identification day.
All junior players under 18 will receive a playing shirt for the year which is included in the registration fee. Mini roos (u6-u11) will also receive a club training shirt.
In 2021 all player registrations have to be done online by the individual player (parent/guardian) www.playfootball.com.au . Online registrations will not be opened until our muster day on 7 February 2021. This ensures that only those who have been placed into a team register. Please apply and download you active kids voucher prior to commencing your registration.

Payments are to be made online. It is mandatory for all players from under 12s–up to upload a passport style photo at the time of registration.
A schedule of the Registration fees for 2021 has also been posted on the club website. The fees are broken up showing how they are distributed. Please also note that a player will not be registered unless full payment is made on the day of registration.
The Club is limited in its ability to assist anyone that may find it difficult to pay the registration fee at the time of Registration. Should anyone find themselves in this situation please contact the club registrar, Kristy Newman email@example.com
Game Leaders and Instructing Referees
Anyone from u13’s up to and including u17’s who are interested in being a game leader or instructing referee please check out the miniroos section of the App under “Information”
Coaches and Managers
For those wishing to coach or manage a team this year you need to complete a coaching application form, these forms will be supplied on registration days. The coaching application form needs to be submitted by completion of the last day of registration. We also require that all those nominating for a coach or manager position provide an email address to enable us to supply any and all information direct to each team via the coach and/or manager.
Child Protection Act
All Coaches, Managers and all persons working with children are required to complete the working with children check online at NSW Guardian.
This is a mandatory requirement and MUST be done before training commences.
All junior/senior/women’s competitions will commence on the weekend of 24th April. (except for interdistrict women/girls competitions start 18 April)
All teams have to be graded and registered with the Macquarie Association by the 12th March.
Club sponsorship plays a vital role for our clubs’ success; in 2021 we have sponsorship packages available for all businesses both large and small. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our grounds at John Street have undergone significant works in the last year. Our training ground at Hillsborough Oval is available for early training. We have spread fertilizer to encourage grass growth and the surface is improving.
Our Women’s Premier League has expanded to include an extra age grade and three junior development teams.
Miniroos will be back at Warners Bay FC in 2021.
Last season was one like no other with Covid-19 causing major disruptions and extra requirements for players, coaches, parents and the Committee. We can expect there to be continued practices around how we operate in a pandemic we hope you keep safe and healthy. Please be flexible as things can change quickly from one day to the next. We hope that season 2021 will be a more “normal” season.
