Applying to be a team Coach
It is great that you are considering a role to help. We really do appreciate all the help we can get.
Should you want to nominate to become a Team Offcial (Coach or Manager), a written application is to be provided to a Coaching Coordinator. Please download an application form and present it to the coaching co-ordinator once completed.
Childrens safety is extremely important and as such, please be aware that a junior team official (teams up to and including under 18) may require a Working with Children Check. Don't let that deter you from taking on the role. In most situations a working with chidren check is not required, and where it is, it is just a simple matter of completing an online application and attending a Service NSW office and as a volunteer, its FREE!!
If you are a parent of a child who is playing within the team that you are coaching, you will not need a working with children check.
For anyone else coaching a junior team, you may be required to obtain a Working With Children Check.
