New blood leads the charge as Dingos defeat the Demons

Saturday’s round two match against the High Park Demons was a much drier affair than round one with conditions perfect for footy at Colonel Samuel Smith Park despite a healthy layer of long grass underfoot.
The Dingos brought a packed out squad to the game opting to blood a raft of new rookies and offering the Demons some of our regular players in reserve to facilitate a full 18 a side hitout.

The Dingos love the Marlies, 2019 Edition

The Dingos' 2019 social calendar kicked off on Saturday as the team headed to the Ricoh Coliseum to watch the Toronto Marlies take on the Rochester Americans and crowd favorite Scott "Wedgie" Wedgewood. Marlies games have become marquee events on the club's calendar, with this being the seventh successive season that the Dingos have taken in an AHL game.

The first round of AFL Ontario finals for 2018 played out over the weekend on a cracking day at Humber College South. For and against broke the tie between the Hamilton Wildcats (5th) and the Toronto Dingos (6th). So it was that the Dingos found themselves facing off against the Etobicoke Kangaroos (3rd) for the right to keep their hopes of a flag alive.

This past Saturday, the Toronto Dingos gathered to remember their friend and teammate, Tim Shaw, and to play the first annual Memorial Cup in his honour. Under heavy rains, the Dingos clashed with the Toronto Rebels in a tough affair, ultimately falling to the Rebels as both teams eye Finals.

The Toronto Dingos made the trek across the 401 to face the Grand River Gargoyles in a huge match for both clubs with important playoff implications. Both teams needed a victory to cement their finals hopes as each club was neck in neck on the ladder for the final few spots. The match started slowly for the Dingos as the Gargoyles used the home field advantage to get the jump on the Dingos.

Toronto Dingos Overrun the High Park Demons

After a watermain break at Humber South postponed the Toronto Dingos and High Park Demons match on Saturday, both clubs were keen to get at it on Wednesday evening for the make-up game. The weather was gray all day, and rain was in the forecast, but it held off for the match allowing the two clubs to play in great conditions.

Toronto Dingos feature in St Patrick's Day Parade 2018

On Sunday March 11th, The Toronto Dingos marched in the St Patrick's Day Parade for the third year in a row. Starting a week early, The Parade was attended by a large number of Torontoians who lined the route from Bloor, to Yonge and Queen street glad in green, white and gold.

Thursday, March 1st at the Davisville Public School Gymnasium starting 6:30 PM
No previous experience is necessary and people of all fitness levels are welcome.

In Memoriam: Tim Shaw (1971-2018)

Tim Shaw, the Toronto Dingos hard-hitting half back flanker, former president and Life Member, who played in all four of the club’s premierships, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
During his 122 games spanning almost two decades with the Toronto Dingos Football Club, Shawy (as he was affectionately known as), embodied the tradition, loyalty and pride associated with the Dingos.

The Toronto Dingos faced the Toronto Eagles in their recent AFL Ontario round eleven fixture. When these teams faced off in their postponed round one match recently the Eagles came out the victors 11.21-87 to 2.6-18. The Toronto Dingos travelled down the QEW for their annual clash against the Hamilton Wildcats on Saturday. Looking to bounce back from the previous week, the Dingos brought a strong side into the match, despite having many regulars out due to injures and family commitments. The Toronto Dingos took on the Toronto Rebels this past weekend in AFL Ontario round 8 action. While the Dingos have had their ups and downs this season, they knew this match would be a tough one, with the Rebels undefeated so far this season.
From the opening ball-up at Humber College South the Rebels quickly found their stride rushing out to a 6.2-38 to 0.2-2 lead in the first quarter.

While parts of the field at Manotick were still showing some signs of wear from a soggy encounter the week before, conditions for this one were dry and sunny - a great day for football in Ontario.

After a delayed start to their season due to the wet conditions last week, the Toronto Dingos were keen to kick things off when they travelled to Guelph to take on the Grand River Gargoyles. London Pre-season Camp in Review and 2017 Leaders

The Dingos headed to London for their fourth annual pre-season camp on April 22nd and 23rd. In what has is now a club staple and a sure sign that the AFL Ontario season is just around the corner.
Over 20 players made the trip this year for an extended training session including fitness work, skills drills, and team building activities capped off by a scrimmage.
