With the accolades for the 2011 season handed out, it's time again for the Ottawa Swans to return to the track in preparation of the 2012 season.
After a very successful inaugural season, the Swans will be organizing the second running of the Ottawa Indoor Metro League in 2012. While competitive, the league offers an introduction to the sport for any new players and an opportunity for experienced players to hone their skills and maintain their fitness.
League coordinator Benjamin Birt is excited to build on the success of the first season. "The Metro League was organised as a fun introduction to the sport. With reduced contact, it will allow players to be introduced in a friendly environment, while experienced players will also be able to practice their skills under game pressure. Our inaugural season was a smash-hit and we're expecting the same for 2012."
All interested players, male and female, are encouraged to sign up today!
The deadline for registration is December 15th so don't delay!
