Since our meet the coach day in November 2009, Mark Kruger has shown he is a great asset for Mt Burr.
Krugz, he is now affectionately known as around the club, has settled in well. We have had the opportunity of a double bonus as he has brought with him a lovely young lady, his girlfriend Stacey.
Krugz and Stacey are both welcome new additions. Since day one, they have both been involved in more than just sport within our club. They have made a big impact on the older members of our club by their polite and genuine interest in the clubs origins and members personal histories. Whether on game day or any evening they are present in the club, you will see them speaking to our older non playing members.
They have also been outspoken in offering to volunteer in any way they can including kitchen duty on Thursday nights.
It is always good to have new people who are active and positive and bring with them the qualities and commitment we are known for at Mt Burr. Their commitment is unquestionable, travelling from Kingston 3 times a week, sometimes leaving late following long training sessions.
Krugz is doing well on the track and has gained the players respect as their new coach while Stacey has started playing netball for the Burr as well.
They both have the committee’s respect for their initiative and drive to be a big part of what being a Mozzie is all about. Well done to them both and as we’ve heard Krugz say already,
“Hell it’s Good out Here!”
