A Bit About Coach Paul Price
Having been involved in Australian Rules Football since the age of 8 years old, I have always had a passion for the game, and consider it clearly the best game in the world. A regular player until the age of 40, and still involved playing AFL Masters each year for Vic Country, my passion has transitioned from player to coaching, in which my goal is to eventually coach at a senior level within the club:

Played in Western Australia (Esperance North- 2001), Darwin (Northern Territory)- Darwin Buffaloes-2002, Casino Goannas (NTFA)-2002-2008 (Captain & Premiers-2004/05), Runner-Up League Medallist NTFA Darwin (2004/05)

My Aim For The Current Season (2021)
Coaching & assisting in working with the group of volunteer coaching assistants to create a pleasurable environment that is fun, team building, as well as learning the basic skills of the game, with an emphasis on good sportsmanship & friendship amongst the group, doing my utmost to most importantly make better people within our community.
Sport is great for the younger bodies & minds, and I love the fact that I can help in offering learning of the basic skills of the game and offer a pathway for the more advanced and skilled within the group to go on and play football at a higher level if that is what they desire.
Game Style/Expectations (2021)
Teaching the basic fundamentals of the game in the most enjoyable way.
Teaching the team to harness success & deal with loss in the right manner & understand what success means to each individual, both from a coaching and team perspective
Basic Offence & Defence skills.
Play Finals, with the ultimate prize of winning the Grand Final. Players understanding what that means.
Encouraging Sportsmanship, Friendship & Ethics amongst the group, to each other & within the club
Emphasising the importance of loyalty amongst the group to each other, as well as the Goolwa/Port Elliot Football Club
