The Upwey Tecoma Football & Netball
Club is proud to be a fully encompassing sporting and social club for
both men and women and members of the junior teams also the general
community.
We are an accredited and
active member of the Good Sports Program and abide by the responsible
serving of alcohol rules and bylaws. The Club is also an equal
opportunity employer and seeks volunteers from all who can, and do give
their time to the successful running of the club.
The
Executive and General Committee would like to reinforce the committment
that we have to the quality and equality of our club and would like to
advise of the "Zero Tolerance" approach that will be taken to what
would be considered a breach of what is socially acceptable behaviour
within the community and our club.
Any
breach deemed to be well outside these boundaries will be dealt with
quickly and decisively and may result in suspension and or expulsion
from our club. If mediation is acceptable between the parties and the
Executive and Committee this would be the first and preferrable course
of action.
If there is a conflict
between members of the same team the Coach, Captain and any nominated
persons required will be responsible for any action that may be deemed
required. If the Executive and Committee deems the action taken by the
Coach and Captain to be unrealistic and not reflect the standards that
the club has set it may take its own course of action in accordance
with the already set actions or in place of them.
The
Executive and Committee do not expect that they will have to invoke any
actions against a Player, Sponsor or Member of our club as we realise
that you want a club that is well run, well attended and a safe place
for you and your family.
