In 2021 OFC fielded a formal women's team for the first time. Historic records indicate there were informal games on occasion in the 1950s and 1960s.
After a slow start to their inaugural season the women's team began to gain some impressive momentum and, in a truncated season impacted by Covid, won through to the Grand Final.
Sadly the final series was unable to be completed. However OFC was named the informal Premier of the 2021 season, Division 2 AFL Outer East.
