1930: Kinglake F.C. joins the Bourke-Evelyn Football League
1931-1936: Kinglake a founding club of Panton Hill & District Football Association.
1937-1938: Kinglake F.C. & PH & DFL in recess.
1939-1940: Panton Hill & District Football League.
1941-1946: No football due to World War II (PHDFL In Recess).
1947-1980: Panton Hill Football League [Kinglake F.C. folds 1980, PHFL folds 1987].
1989: Meetings commence with a view to reforming the Kinglake Football Club
1990-1993: Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League (2nd Div) [Kinglake F.C. Reformed].
1994: YVMDFL 2nd Division Premiers
1995: YVMDFL 2nd Division Runners Up
1996-2000: Diamond Valley Football League (2nd Div).
2001: Kinglake F.C in recess for Season 2001.
2002-2007: Diamond Valley Football League/Northern Football League (2nd Div).
2007:
Executive Committee and other players past & present meet at
"Frosty's Shed" to decide whether to fold the club, or give it one last
shot and 'die trying'. Obviously we chose the latter and succeeded.
2008: Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League (2nd Div) & Netball A & B Grade for the first time.
Mid-2008: "C" Grade Netball introduced due to player numbers, with these girls playing in the Kinglake Domestic (Local) competition on Thursday Nights.
2008: Seniors finish 5th on ladder and play in Elimination Final against Yarra Glen at Yarra Junction, losing by 10 points.
2008: Reserves finish 4th on ladder and play in Elimination Final against Emerald
2008: B Grade Netball finish 5th on ladder and play in Elimination Final, defeating Yea. The netball girls went on to play Thornton-Eildon in the 2nd Semi-Final, only to lose by after taking the match into extra time. A great effort by all for our first year back in the YVMDFL and a special mention to the girls who made finals in their inaugral year and to the 18-year odd effort of Michael Maloney & Benny Collins which saw the reserves make their first finals appearance ever, since the formation of Reserve Grade in 1966 (PHFL). And an acknowledgment that in our first year back in this league we had the biggest crowd on most occassions at both home and away games. Let's hope it continues well into the future.
