Thirdly, please find below details from HICCI for anyone and any small businesses that may be requiring assistance at the moment:
Healesville Interchurch Community Care Inc (HICCI) is here to help residents of Healesville, Yarra Glen and surrounding areas who are in need of practical support. HICCI receives funding from Commonwealth, State and Local Government as well as our local community to provide this assistance.
The on-going impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic continues to affect all our lives bringing great uncertainty. We appreciate that it is very difficult for people who have never asked for assistance to come forward and say I need some help, but these are unprecedented times.
People come into the HICCI office for many reasons, to volunteer, drop off home produce/food donations, material aid, referral to other services, etc. No-one is here to judge. All communication is kept in the strictest confidence.
HICCI can provide vouchers for food and fuel, food, limited assistance with bills as well as referrals to other services for further support.
Please phone us on 5911 6000 to have a chat about how we may be able to help make life easier for you, or if you are travelling ok and know someone that could use some support, please encourage them to phone HICCI.
Office hours are 9.00-12.00,1.00-3.30 Monday to Friday. HICCI is here to help.
