The Alexandra Football/Netball Club was represented by the under 13 netball team last Sunday for the Grand Finals of the SDJFNL season, travelling to Kings Park in Seymour facing some very wintery conditions.

Alexandra 18 defeated by Euroa 22
The Rebels lost both games to Euroa during the home and away season but played great netball on Sunday to push the Magpies all the way, eventually going down by 4 at the final siren. Well done to coaches Mandy and Shona Gesler and all the players on a great season and thank you to all the parents for their support.

The Junior Presentation function for all four Alexandra Football/Netball Club football and three netball teams will be held on Friday, 31st August at the Club rooms with a 5.30 pm for a 6.00 pm start, free entry and everyone is welcome.
Results in the other Grand Finals played last Sunday at Seymour were:
- under 11 netball, St Marys 10 defeated Seymour 8;
- under 15 netball, St Marys 27 defeated Tabilk 19;
- under 12 football, Euroa 3.10 – 28 defeated Tabilk 1.1 – 7;
- under 14 football, St Marys 9.5 – 59 defeated Euroa 2.2 – 14;
- under 16 football, Broadford 8.4 – 52 defeated Euroa 2.3 – 15;
