Comments: What a great performance by the boys today. They all played well. We kicked 5 goals in the first quarter, with Jacob Stimson kicking 4 of them. We had a quiet second quarter with only kicking one goal in the wind. We had another awesome quarter in the third, with four goals getting kicked, which Leo Brady kicked 3 of them. We held Cumberland Park scoreless for the whole game and the game was mericed at 3/4 time. Every boy contributed today which is always nice to see.

Absent- Jesse Stevenson and Jacob Stimson.
In very muddy conditions, our boys tried hard. We were outplayed, out scored in tough conditions. Noah Poel kicked our only goal which was in the first quarter. Our second quarter let us down as TEDAS kicked 4 goals which they ran away with game. Third quarter was great for us as we held them scoreless. There was some great tackling, nice marks and some good second efforts at getting the ball, but sadly today was not our day.

Comments- What an amazing effort by the boys. Played in great conditions, the boys walked away with a great win which was well deserved. All boys put in 100 percent and have given their all today. We had a few goal kickers today which is always good to see. We had a lot of scoring opportunities in the first quarter scoring 3-8. There was great defensive pressure which keep Glengarry scoreless for the game. Was scored 4-1 in the second half, which was awesome.

Comments: What a turn around from the first time that we played them. They mericed us the first time and today we lost by 1 point. We had a great first half scoring 3-2 and keeping them to 1 goal in that first half. We payed some good tackles and we really good pressure on them. They kept us scoreless in the second half and they scored 2-3 to beat us by a point. Well done to our boys who have shown growth in their footy.

Comments: The boys put up an amazing effort today. They were under the pump for most of the game. It was a close first quarter with West End only 2 points behind. Jake S and Jacob S kicked our only goals which was in the first. Southside kicked away in the second quarter and held us scoreless. Third quarter was good to only hold them to one goal. We scored a behind in that quarter. While Southside were winners on the scoreboard our boys are winners for not giving up and trying their best.

Comments: It was a wet and very muddy out there today. The boys did a really good job. They stayed on their feet which was an amazing effort. Combined Saints kicked 2- 2 in the first and the second quarter we scored 2 goals to their no score. The second half was tight , they kept us goalless and they scored 2-1. We may not have won on the score board but winners in their effort today.

Our boys tried very hard all day long. They were out played by a good team. They never gave up and tried their best until the final siren.

Comments: A really close tight first quarter with only a goal to Churchill 2 and 3 behinds to West End. In the second quarter Churchill2 got some momentum up and kick 3 goals. They hold us to no goals in that quarter. In the third our boys put up a good fight and we kicked 2-7 and only hold Churchill2 to 1-1. Churchill2 were winners at the end of the day but our boys played hard and gave their best.

Great win by boys. Two games in a row and boys are really playing well together. In the first quarter we were under the pump but we kept good defensive pressure to keep them scoreless in that quarter. 2 goals by Jacob Stimson got us in a good position. It was a tight game in the wind.

Round 2 West End Won against Glengarry
The U10's had their first win of the year beating Glengarry. They opened the first quarter with some nice tackles, passing the ball around well and kicking some great goals. The larger ground the boys played on today suited their style and our running players found their groove. Jacob Stimson booted 3 goals for the match in a best on ground performance.

The boys played really well and had some fantastic passages of play. They transitioned the ball really well but came up against a better team on the day. Lots of rotations on and of the bench. Well done to all the team.
