Comment from the President - The U16's are an unbelievable side and I'm so proud of the way they play. They fight week after week, get knocked down but come up fighting for the next round. The gallantly lost today but played their best game of the year. If these guys had a full side and had a chance to come to the bench for a rest during the game they would be up there with the best side in the comp. Well done guys I think your commitment is fantastic.
Thanks to the Combined Saints boys who helped us with numbers and put in some good efforts.

A tough game against a quality opposition. The game was played with plenty of passion, with the pressure showing in the number of behinds kicked by Pax Hill.
Keep your heads up boys and you will continue to develop as a team and as individuals.
Thanks to Bevan from Pax Hill for helping make up our numbers.

A fantastic effort by the boys to take out their first win of the season.
It's been a long hard slog so far, but the boys have held their heads high game after game and the effort at training and on the ground have finally paid off.
Picking best on grounds was a tough gig as ALL players gave their very best to beat Glengarry on a perfect day for footy.
Keep up the intensity lads and more wins won't be far off!

A lot of solid efforts during the game with us having good control in the first half. Our intensity dropped off early in the second half to allow Southside to kick 3 quick goals and we never got back on top of them. It's great to see the growth in the team and each week more players put their hand up to play harder. Continued efforts at training should definitely see us having some better results soon. Thanks to Brody Deering, Luke McGregor, Harri Middleton & Jaelen Hamriding for playing for us after playing in the Under 14s. We wish a speedy recovery to Brody Deering who suffered a broken elbow during the game

The boys played their best game of the year today and it was great to see some of the fantastic play and work these guys are doing. The courageous things these boys are doing during the game is fantastic and a pleasure to watch. Things didn't go our way, but the commitment they put in week in / week out is amazing. Well done Mark and team, you will get a win soon! Thanks to Brody, Ben & Taelen for playing up on the day the Under 14s had a bye.

A hard day to play footy with wind and rain persisting for most of the game.
The final score didn't reflect how well the boys played together, it just couldn't be converted on the score board.
During the first quarter, we earned a lot of frees, all due to playing in front and putting bodies on the line.
With consistent effort, we should start seeing some better results in the coming weeks.
Thanks to Pax Hill for loaning us a couple of their players.

A tough game against Glengarry in warm condiitions.
We were outplayed for the first half, struggling to get a centre clearance as Glengarry played a solid team game.
In the third quarter, we put together some great efforts and passages of play to get a couple of goals on the run.
Round 1, 17/4/16
Police Boys 15-15-105 d West End 5-0-30

The boys worked hard against a competitive Police Boys in the first quarter, scoring the first goal. Police Boys kicked 1-6 in the first, the result of some good defensive pressure.
We were outplayed in the second, despite some great individual efforts.
More good effort from all players in the third and fourth quarters saw us playing hard right up to the siren, but Police Boys were just too good.
This is the first time many of the boys have played together, but there was some great passages of play showing that there is real potential for a highly competitive team.
Thanks to Brody, Harri and Luke for playing up after playing a full match in the Under 14s.
