We travel over to Yarroweyah today to take on the Hoppers. After this week we will have a bye before we head into the final two rounds. Let's make the most of our opportunities today before our rest. Best of luck to everyone competing today. After today's games we will be heading back to the Terminus Hotel for our awards. It would be good to see plenty get back to this, as last week's attendance was pretty poor.
While the junior Bloods went down by a couple of goals last week, they can certainly hold their heads high, as the effort was second to none.
Drew led the way with some courageous tackling and marking and set the scene for his team mates.
The Smithers boys were back to their best with Dec tidying up everything loose in the backline and Taz's ruck work was commendable against two much bigger opponents.
Harvey was in everything and the backline was well held together by Bailey, Cody and Ollie.
Let's play with the same intensity today and the result will look after itself.
Congratulations to all the boys on a great effort last week. Reilly and Pete both had solid games. Toby played his best game for the year. Thanks again to the U/14 boys for stepping up.
Another tough day on the footy ground for the Magoos. Great games from Tim and Glyn. Both guys worked hard for the entire four quarters. Corey played a strong game in the back line.
Well what a great win by the seniors on Saturday against Mathoura in what was terrible conditions. It was a hard slog at the end but to the boys credit they fought it out to the end coming home with the four points.
Congratulations to Jeremy Cardillo and Ash Crawford who both play their 200th club game today. Jeremy (Pica) has been a great clubman over his journey to his 200th game, being on the committee now for quite some years and Ash (our President) has taken a little longer to get to his 200th. Congrats to both.
