Taking on the undefeated Bullpups was always going to be a challenge, but to the Jnr Bloods credit they showed plenty of determination and while it didn't reflect on the scoreboard the boy's efforts were honest, applying some good pressure for most of the game. It was the back line boys that were in most of the action for the day with Zander, Drew, Cody, Harvey and Aden all holding their own, while Oliver and Connor Pags efforts and improvement is one of many pluses for the year so far, as is the progress of Braydie, Ethan, Hayden and Chase.
Thanks to our senior coach, Danny K for addressing the boys after the game with some of his insights that I'm sure the boys will take on board.
Last one for the year today boys, on the big stage after the seniors, so as has been the case all year is regardless of the result we need to maintain the effort for a good finish to the year.
The Under 17 boys had a great game this week. Jess Barker and Reilly Rennick played fantastic games in the centre. Tyler Jeffress played a great game at centre half forward. Let's finish off the season today with a good hard crack at the ball.
Congratulations to Corey Herezo on playing his 200th club game. He had a great game and we look forward to watching many more games Corey and to share the glory with his brother, Ben also had a fantastic game. Well done boys.
A few milestones happening this week - big congratulations to Leisa Desailly who plays her 50th A Grade game, Glyn Matters who plays his 50th Reserves game and Sean Logie who plays his 100th Senior game. These are all great achievements for the three of them and hopefully we will see plenty more.
