Welcome to the Picola Football Netball Club this week.
U/14's - The boys were more than competitive in the contest for the ball but unfortunately didn't use it as well as the young Dees at times with our turnovers putting our backline in the action more than they should have. Drew and Tommy demonstrated time and time again their ability to put their head over the ball and come out with it to our advantage. Will and Tom H both worked hard while Blaid laid the tackle of the day chasing and dragging down a lad four times his size to get the kick and show how it's done. We are improving each week in different areas, we now just need to pull it all together, do it over the four quarters and the result will come.
Congratulations to Jared Diwell for playing his 50th U14's game this week. All the best Jared.
U/17's - The boys were up against bigger opposition going down, but not for a gallant fight. Better luck this week boys. Congratulations to Jordan Hicks today for playing his 50th U17's match for the club. Well done Jordan.
Reserves - Thanks to the U17's boys that came and gave us a chop out. Without you boys our game wouldn't have gone ahead. Let's all get to at least one training run, maybe on a Thursday night and stay around for a meal and a couple of drinks whilst you wait for the teams to be read out. Better luck today.
Seniors - Well all we can say is that we are struggling with injuries at the moment, once this rectifies itself we might just see some results going our way. Keep at it boys.
