Cowwarr will be aiming to march up the ladder with a number of recruits providing a mix of youth and experience which should see the Saints progress from last season’s year of consolidation and development.
Saints coach Cory Bannister is aiming for continued improvement from his side which has seen a low turnover of players.
“Our list remains mostly unchanged, those we have recruited bring additional experience to the side, and we will certainly benefit from the inclusion of premiership coach David Ivey who will provide additional on field leadership.
“We are still a relatively young side 80 per cent of the list are aged 23 or younger, so the experience of the recruits will compliment the base that we have been establishing over past seasons.
“The aim is to show continued improvement and development, we won eight games last year which was an improvement from five the season prior so were being realistic and think that 10 wins could be possible and that we could make a push for finals,” said Bannister.
