Located between Ararat and Stawell in the Wimmera, Great Western is famous for its wineries. The Great Western Lions have been established for over 100 years in different forms. A small town, we produce plenty of good football and netball players.
In 2012 the club joined the Mininera District Football League. We are always seeking enthusiastic netball and football players to compete. We currently have football teams in the under 12's, under 16 and a half, reserves and seniors. Our netball players compete in the 13 & under, 15 & under, 17 & under, C grade, B grade and A grade.
