We look forward to 2023, but we still will have the financial burden that is involved in operating a sporting club at a competitive level, and it would not be possible to do so if not for the financial support from business people such as yourself.
There is a number of hidden costs in operating a sporting club that many people are
unaware of and we have listed some of the approximate costs that we incur each season.
Sport & Recreation - $10,250
(Facility Hire, Utilities are included in this fee)
Medical Trainers - $11,150
Football & Netball Umpires - $9,000
Medical Supplies - $4,150
Footballs/Netballs - $1,500
Insurance - $3,500
Registration/Affiliation with AFL Victoria, Netball Victoria and the MCDFNL - $15,400
As you can see, there is over $54,000 worth of expenses that our club has to cover each season and it is only through the generosity of our Business Partners that we are able to reduce this deficit to a sustainable level. The GST component is also included.
These are just operational expenses and is one of the more difficult burdens that is continually facing sporting clubs each season.
Your contribution in recent season’s has been accepted gratefully and our club is very pleased by the support of Crameri MITRE 10 and we hope that we can continue with the same arrangement in season 2023.
