Season 2012
The 2012 season showed a lot of promise at the start of the season, but a lack of depth was evident as the season drew to a close.
Despite the lack of depth the senior team did show an improvement from the previous season and managed to compete in the finals.
The Reserves had a disappointing season, but it did allow the club to play a number of juniors in the reserves alongside a number of our experienced former senior players which was a good learning curve for our players of the future.
The Under 17 team played off in the finals and were defeated in the semi final.
The 2012 season continued to be a learning tool for the Under 15 boys and it is great to see that they continue to improve as each game progresses.
There were a number of milestone games with Jaye Farnsworth and Paul Hamilton playing there 200th club games, while Josh Barker played his 150th game for the Bulldogs.
Best & Fairest for the third successive season was Lachlan Edwards.
Brad Wardlaw was the winner of the Reserves MCDFNL Best & Fairest Award.
