After a promising 2007 season the club was optimistic in 2008 and although the club had a consistent season they did not reach the heights of the previous year with the senior team losing the 1st semi final by 42 points to Maldon.
Late season injuries to key players did not help, but complacency also played a key role in the decline.
Adrian Pilgrim kicked 83 goals for the season.
Jason Hunt won the U17 MCDFL Goalkicking with 91 goals.
Gary Wardlaw won the MCDFL Reserves Best & Fairest with 21 votes.
Mitch Etherton was R/Up by one vote in the Under 17 MCDFL B & F with 28 votes.
