The Avoca Football Netball Club would like to advise that the club will be holding a reunion in season 2018 for two very special years in our netball history.
It is fifty years this season since our 1968 netballers won the premiership in all four grades of that season. Which is a remarkable achievement!
It is also thirty years this season since our 1988 netballers had all four teams in the Grand Final but could not quite match the achievement of the 68 girls, but they still managed to win three of the four premierships, with the 17’s girls just missing out to be Runners Up. Which is also a remarkable achievement!
We congratulate the girls of both 1968 and 1988 on there accomplishment and look forward to seeing you all back at Avoca during the 2018 season at a date to be determined.
A Reunion Committee is in the process of being established and we ask that anyone that is interested in joining this committee, please contact Vicki Burge.
