Season 2015
Season 2015 started off on a promising note when the senior football team defeated Dunolly in the opening game of the season. But unfortunately losses in the next eight games soon brought things back to earth. The Reserves also lost the first nine games and it is fair to say that the atmosphere around the club was very low.
Improvement was shown in both the senior and reserves grades later in the season with both grades winning a number of games, but the victories were against teams that were out of the top eight.
The Junior grades all played finals, but the Under 11.5’s were knocked out of the Preliminary Final by Newstead.
Trevor Field played his 550th club game against Carisbrook on Sat 20th June. And Ben Howell played his 350th club game on the same day.
Jaye Farnsworth played his 250th club game against Trentham a couple of weeks later.on Saturday 4th July.
The following players played their 100th club games: Mitch Holland, Daniel Howell, Taylor Kennedy, Ash Wardlaw, Brayden Wardlaw, Riley Wardlaw.
The netball girls flew the flag once again with the B & C Grade girls making the Grand Final and the C Grade girls achieving the Ultimate success by winning the Premiership.
Senior Football Best & Fairest was Jake Nicholson.
