Snow to play his 250th game for the Bulldogs
Andrew “Snow” Wardlaw will this week play his 250th club game for the Avoca Bulldogs.
Snow first played for Avoca in the Under 16’s in 1998 as a ten year old and went on to become the record holder for the most games in that grade. (130 games)
He also won a number of awards in that grade including Runner Up Best & Fairest in 2004 and was a representative for the Lexton Plains Football League Under 17 team.
In the first year in the MCDFNL, Snow was 3rd in the Under 17 MCDFNL Best & Fairest, only two votes behind the winner.
Avoca went through some lean times in the early part of the decade and Snow was one of those players that would step up to play another game when the club was short on numbers which boosted his reserves and senior games tally over the years.
He is a very consistent player and won the John Clohesy Memorial Trophy for the Most Consistent Player in the Reserves grade in 2007.
The Avoca Football Netball Club would like to congratulate Snow on reaching his 250th game milestone and we thank him for his ongoing services to our club.
Well done Snow!
