All,
Tomorrow is my last day before I take leave. My plan is to travel and work overseas for a year and be back this time in 2011 to continue my position at the Ballarat CAH. All things going well this will eventuate, however like most things in life there is a level of uncertainty. I may stay longer, may never return or I could be back mid year.
Whatever happens I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked with me, guided me and above all supported me in my role with the Ballarat CAH.
I have been blessed to be able to work with each and every club and in particular the hard working people who keep the clubs afloat. We all aim for premiership success but whether we realise it or not, the greatest success we achieve is being able to provide an environment for people to enjoy and belong as well as an opportunity to compete and achieve. The happiest moments of my life belong to a Football / Netball club. I'm sure the majority of your members feel the same way. Thank you for your efforts and hard work at your club. I hope they are appreciated by all you members and supporters as much as I appreciate them.
Can I please ask that you pass on the above message to anyone who is not on my mailing list that I have associated with at your club.
I can guarantee that the League is in good hands and will continue to prosper this year. My replacement Liam Brady was carefully selected and having known Liam for many years, I can speak of his absolute commitment to Football and Netball. Like me, Liam has devoted his professional career to working in Sports Administration and Management and will continue his devotion to your League. Already he has made an impact on the League with new sponsorship proposals and ideas.
With Rod and the Executive, I couldn't have asked for a better support group over the past 2 years. Every decision has been made with the Leagues best interests in mind and carried out as best as possible to ensure that all clubs and members benefit. They truly have made my role enjoyable and positively challenging. Wardy is the best administrator in the state! The league is very fortunate to have a person of his ilk guiding it, just as I have been fortunate to have him as a mentor. The Executive's combined efforts in 2010 along with Liam's will see the league go from strength to strength. I hope that you can work closely with them, entrust them and support them. Please remember that they exist in their roles to support your club.
Best of luck in 2010 with you assault on the season. Continue to work hard and above all enjoy all the benefits associated with being part of a Football and Netball Club, they are infinite.
If ever you wish to drop me a line this year you can do so on the following email: boyle_t@hotmail.com
Thanks again and best wishes!
Regards,
