Back Pocket - Bernie Bunworth

A solid dependable backman who played in three premierships by the age of 17. He has played in the Wimmera League, won a club Best and Fairest and was joint coach in 1973. A past President of the club.
Full Back – Graeme Combe

Full back in the team and is one of our most rugged defenders, no forward ever got an easy kick against him. He played in four premierships, also played Wimmera League, won a club Best and Fairest and was joint coach in 1973. A past President of the club.
Back Pocket - Bruce Young

The other Back Pocket is a player who has always played taller than he is. A good change ruckman with great pace and athleticism. Assistant coach of the 1987 premiership, Joint Coach in 1991 and also played Wimmera League.
Half Back Flank - David Laffy

On the Half Back line, is a current player who started with Laharum in 1999. Another solid dependable player with no beg pardons, also played Wimmera League and is a valuable asset to the club.
Centre Half Back - Geoff McTavish
1945-1967 Total games 341 341 Seniors 0 Reserves
Centre Half Back is held down by one of the real stalwarts of Laharum. He was virtually a permanent fixture in this position for a majority of his 341 games. He played in five premierships but only ever kicked three goals in his career. Was called Sticky Fingers and his brother Graeme accepted his award.
Half Back Flank - Barry Roberts
1978-2001 Total Games 316 219 Seniors 97 Reserves
The second Half Back Flanker is another staunch defender. A player with great evasive skills and was often a springboard for attack. He also played Wimmera League and was a member of the 1987 premiership team. A past President of the club.
Wing - Stuart Combe
1982-2009 Total Games 367 295 Seniors 72 Reserves
On the wing we have a very skilful and speedy player who has played in two premierships, 1987 and 1995. He is also a club Best and fairest winner with Wimmera League experience.
Centre - Peter Combe
1950-1970 Total Games 322 310 Seniors 12 Reserves
In the centre is a six time Club Best and Fairest winner, twice League runner up Best and fairest and five time club premiership player. One of the very best players to pull on a Laharum Guernsey, he was a fine mark and great exponent of the drop kick and also played Wimmera League.
Wing - Ron Ward

On this wing was a great ball getter and attacking wingman that never lowered his colours to anyone. He won a league and club Best and Fairest and also had a fine Wimmera League career.
Half Forward Flank - Steven Parish

The Half Forward Flank is occupied by one of the toughest smaller players to play for Laharum. No opponent ever found it easy against the three time Best and Fairest winner and dual premiership player.
Centre Half Forward - Bill Tucker
1957-1967 Total Games 150 150 Seniors 0 Reserves
Bill was the Captain-Coach of five premierships between 1957 to 1967. He came to Laharum from Wimmera League after trying out for Geelong and is arguably the best Centre Half Forward in the Horsham and District League. He kicked just under 500 goals for the club and won the league goal kicking award.
Half Forward Flank - Len Miller
1934-1948 Total Games 150 150 Seniors 0 Reserves
The other Half Forward Flanker is a skilful and speedy player who played from 1934 to 1948 in a career interrupted by World War two. He captained the team in 1946 and helped re-establish football locally after the war. He played approximately 150 games including the 1938 premiership. Len’s nephew Gary Trotter accepted his award.
Forward Pocket - Albert Daly
1935-1939 Total Games 75 75 Seniors 0 Reserves
One Forward Pocket is filled by the Captain of the 1938 Premiership team. He played about 75 games between 1935 and 1939 and then went onto Wimmera League. He was a member of one of the top local sporting families of the time. Albert’s medal was accepted by his son Barry.
Full Forward - Ron Winfield
1973- 1985 Total Games 205 166 Seniors 39 Reserves
Our Full Forward kicked approximately 600 goals over his 13 years with Laharum; this was after a lengthy career at Wonwondah. He won a League goal kicking trophy and the club award 8 times; he was also a great mark and a very accurate kick for goal.
Forward Pocket - Brett Janetzki

In this Forward Pocket a genuine goal sneak has been selected. He is a premiership player and dual Best and Fairest winner. In his career at Laharum he has kicked about 320 goals including the leading goal kicker once. A highly skilled player around the goal front.
Ruck - Brian Dunn

The onballers are led by one of the best knock ruckman in the league. He played 240 games over a 17 year career winning the club Best and Fairest three times and Equal winner of the League B & F in 1959. He was an integral member of the clubs golden era.
Ruck Rover - Stewart Dalziel

Our Ruck Rover is a league Best & Fairest winner, is a rugged and skilful player he also coached Laharum to the finals in 2001 and 2002. He can run on the ball for long periods and has had plenty of senior experience in the Wimmera League.
Rover - Ted Pohlner

“The Master”, tough, rugged, always at the fall of the ball and with great stamina. He won two club Best and Fairests after having Wimmera experience. He was also renowned for arriving at matches at the last possible moment. Ted’s son in law Peter Jackman accepted his award.

Int - Peter Hyde

Every country club has someone who plays football because they love the game so much. Des is the current games record holder on 456 games which may never be passed. Has played in most positions over the years and is also a past President.
Int - Garth Rees

From 1950 to 1960 this player was known as the best palm ruckman in the league. A member of two premiership sides, he kicked a late goal to give Laharum the lead in the 1959 Grand Final
