MOUNT Pleasant Football-Netball Club will celebrate five of its premierships with a reunion and past players day this Saturday.
The Blues host Heathcote at Toolleen in round 15 of the Heathcote District season.
The oldest of the flags to be celebrated is the Blues’ 1966 senior triumph in which Mount Pleasant defeated Heathcote North in what was the first of a premiership three-peat.
The 1976 B-grade netball and 1996 reserves football flags will also be honored, as well as a pair of premierships in 2006.
The Blues won both the senior and reserves football premierships in 2006.
Coached by Cameron Carter, Mount Pleasant defeated Elmore 19.13 (127) to 13.12 (90) in the 2006 grand final to win what remains the last of its 19 senior premierships in the HDFL.
All past players and supporters are welcome to attend on Saturday.
