Steve Daniel has been appointed Club Coach of the Tatura Bulldogs, starting late 2010.
A highly credentialed coach, Daniel led Seymour to back-to-back premierships in 2005 and 2006.
He recently added to his impressive coaching CV by coaching Queensland to its best ever result of fourth overall at the Australian Country Football Carnival in Canberra.
Tatura Football Netball Club President, Denis Flett said Steve Daniel is a perfect fit for the club.
“Daniel places strong emphasis on player development and teaching, which is particularly important given the composition of Tatura’s player list.
“He is the ideal choice to build on the tremendous resurgence started by current Club Coach Paul Serra,” Mr Flett said..
Coach Serra provided early advice that he would be stepping away from coaching at the end of the 2010 season, which enabled a timely search for his replacement.
Flett added that the club has put a lot of effort into its business planning to ensure that the foundations of a success are in place.
“Steve Daniel is the right person to come into this vital leadership role and to help take the club to a higher level of sustained performance,” Mr Flett said.
