This week to East Geelong in what are winnable games across all grades so we wish all players the best in their endeavours and if we play as well as we have over past couple of weeks anything is achievable. Last week Bell Post Hill showed why they are the clubs favourite for the flag in the seniors as they were too big and strong for our seniors but we again showed good passages of play which would be competitive against most clubs. The Reserves bounded back for a win against quality opposition and now need to keep this up to be in contact with the final five. Colts had a very wet game and played well but just could not break Portarlington. We thank all those who made the effort to stay for a while after the games including our Bell Post Hill friends.
We must thank our sponsors Hotel 520 for allowing us to be part of their Friday raffle which enabled the club to raise much needed funds but also cement our relationship with them as a partner.
Remember next major function is Past Players Day on July 18th against Geelong West followed by the famous Bogan Bingo Night. If you know any past players please let them know. Last year was such a great day. As a club we are supporting the AFL Major Raffle so everyone will be given a book of tickets to sell so make sure you pick yours up early and give yourself plenty of time to sell them.
