B Grade came up against their first real challenge in third on the ladder, Bell Post hill. The team started really well with all players combining well. Anna Pattison was strong all game in WD with tight defense and was well supported from behind by Leigh Stewart and Paras Mackenzie. Centrals allowed Bell Post to come back into the game in the 3rd quarter with erratic play and basic mistakes, but were able to hold their lead through to the end of the game with the strong and steady leadership of Amanda Neilsen. Overall a good win by Centrals.

C Grade:
Werribee Centrals 36 vs Bellpost Hill 27
After a nervous start Centrals C Grade worked extra hard to come away with a great win over Bell Post Hill. Once the nerves settled Clare Atherton and Amber Smith were unstoppable in goals. Assisted with great feeding from Bec Harris, Maddi Hayes and Leah Matheson. Diandra Sellers had a great game with pressure over every ball causing many turnovers. Once again it was great teamwork in defense with Megan Cunningham and Jo Crozier working hard with continual pressure over every shot. Overall it was a shaky start for Centrals but great communication and defensive pressure we came away with a good win.

D Grade:
Werribee Centrals 41 vs Bellpost Hill 35
Werribee Centrals knew they were in for a tough game today with not ideal weather conditions. Centrals came out strong in the first quarter with Jenna Goricanec shooting beautifully. Tamara Laing in GD, caused some upset for Bell Post Hill's shooters, making it hard for them to capitalise on their centre passes. Centrals fought it out for the four quarters to keep possession and came away with a tight win. Centrals will take away the four points and many things to work on at training for the upcoming game against Winchelsea.

Under 17s:
Werribee Centrals 47 vs Bellpost Hill 4
Windy and cold conditions caused a scrappy start. Defenders did a great job on keeping Bellpost to only 4 goals for the whole game. Our attackers did well with great leads to the top of the ring. A credit to the girls on the bench, they came on and made a great impact on the game. Bec Harris was unstoppable in the mid court to help Jenna Goricanec have a strong game. Well done to Jade Parsons and Jacqui who combined well in the ring. Jacinta was outstanding in WD, taking crucial intercepts and taking out this weeks best. Lots to work on for the upcoming game again Winchelsea.

Centrals 15s had another strong win today building on all of the set plays and team goals we have been working on throughout our preseason. Lilly Smith worked beautifully bringing the ball down the mid court and feeding into the ring. Maddison Knight and Zoe Piccolo worked tirelessly all game to keep BPH to a minimal score. Plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks
