Centrals Netballers came up against a strong Belmont outfit and the weather and would have been happy with the results except for B Grade considering the conditions and the players missing.
A GRADE
WERRIBEE CENTRALS 55 DEFEATED BELMONT LIONS 30
In wet and windy conditions Werribee Centrals got the jump on Belmont in the first few minutes of the match breaking the first few centres and capitalising on their opportunities. Young Paras Mackenzie played her first game in the A Grade, and did an awesome job, combining well at the defence end. Belmont didn't let up and applied defensive pressure over every ball The second quarter saw Belmont jump out of the blocks and got within one goal of Werribee with some great pressure down the defence end, The second quarter was an even quarter with both sides scoring eleven goals each. Werribee Centrals with a couple of their key players missing, then proceeded to take it up another level winning the third quarter, and prepared themselves to dig deep and come out and play a strong final quarter. Werribee's fourth quarter was their best, with target shooter Eleanor Tubbs under the goal post, and working well with the Centrals attacking end. For Centrals, Emma Richards played a great defensive game, combining well with Noni McClure. Werribee Centrals A Grade continue to dominate the competition with only 5 games remaining, sitting first and undefeated. In great preparation for finals they face Bell Post Hill & East Geelong in the upcoming weeks both games are expected to be extremely competitive games.

B Grade
Werribee Centrals 26 vs Belmont 30
B Grades intensity went missing today in a disappointing match against Belmont. The girls played a fantastic last quarter but that was the only positive in a frustrating game of netball. The girls will need to make a massive improvement in the weeks to come if they are to make an impact in finals.
Goals: Clarrisa Mellili 12, Renee DiGioacchino 10, Emily Ashley 4.

C GRADE
WERRIBEE CENTRALS 31 vs BELMONT LIONS 31
In a well evenly matched contest, Werribee Centrals worked tirelessly all game, putting on the defensive pressure all over the court. Kim Genge came on in the third quarter which helped change things up a bit in the goaling combination allowing Clarissa Melilli to move around, make some space, and put the goals on the scoreboard. Tayla Melilli was dominant in the WD position, with her great pressure over every ball. All players worked hard as a team with a few things to work on coming into finals, but the Centrals C Grade girls will be ready to take on the challenge.

Werribee Centrals D Grade regain the top spot today after working hard to come away with a great win over Belmont. Defensive pressure was again at its optimum coming away with many rebounds & clean intercepts in difficult weather. Our attacking end is working hard to ensure there end of the court is transitioning with the ball and putting the points on the board. Werribee Centrals 21 vs Belmont 15
Today Centrals faced a tough game in Belmont. With good defensive pressure and leads down the court, we were able to hold our lead throughout the game. Today we incorporated a wall in the centre pass which allowed for the defenders to pick off the ball. Zoe had a great day in the defense end, picking off the rebounds and being a back up option for the attack line. Lilly Smith also played well, making leads and feeding great passes into the goal circle. Jenna Goricanec had a field day in goals, backing up any missed shots with rebounds. A great game by the 15s today.
BEST : Zoe Piccolo, Lilly Smith, Jenna Goricanec
Goals: Jenna Goricanec 14, Ellie Vincent 7
