The Eagles' round 11 clash with Grovedale on June 27 and their encounter against Lara the following week will now be played at Newcomb's Grinter Reserve.
Newtown & Chilwell has been forced to play away from the ground for the first half of the season while its clubrooms underwent a major $600,000 upgrade, which Eagles' president Noel O'Dwyer said would be a "showpiece".
O'Dwyer said the club was pushing to have the works completed before its round 13 clash with St Joseph's, scheduled to be played at Elderslie Reserve on Sunday, July 19 as part of the GFL's rivalry round.
The Eagles will then play their last five games of the year at home.
The clash with the Tigers was meant to be the Eagles' first home game of the season and O'Dwyer said the club appreciated the help and support offered by his Newcomb counterpart Ian Webb.
"We helped out (GDFL club) Anakie a few years ago when they were in a similar position so you'd like to think what goes around, comes around and Newcomb were very obliging," O'Dwyer said.
"All the clubs help each other out."
Newtown & Chilwell currently sits in seventh spot on the ladder, two games behind its opponent this Saturday, Bell Park.
"It's been frustrating for everyone at the club (not having a home game so far) so what the boys and (coach) Simon (Sutterby) have been able to achieve has been fantastic," O'Dwyer said.
Meanwhile, the Eagles will be strengthened by the return of co-captains Michael Bright and David McVilly, Leigh Morrison and Peter Bury for the clash with the Dragons.
