NEWTOWN & Chilwell reserves premiership coach Matt Bruhn says the direction the club takes with its next senior coaching appointment will have an impact on his future.
Bruhn, who co-coached Newcomb to the 2007 BFL premiership after a decorated playing career with Grovedale, is interested in taking a senior coaching role in the future.
“I’m just waiting to see what’s happening here,” he said.
“It’s a great club and I don’t really want to leave here, so I’m happy to help out where I can.”
However, he hasn’t put his hand up to replace Damien Christensen, who stepped down after one year in the role last month.
“No,” was all he said when asked.
