This Sunday May 10 we are building up to the Lakes Maroon v Lakes White Mother's day game. As we only have one side this year it will allow all kids to play a full match in a practice game against each other. Please come along and support the day as there are two important things happening: Firstly we will be raising funds for the Breast Cancer Network with raffles and prizes and we are arranging a local band to provide some entertainment on the day. Secondly, the Under 12's game will see the selection of the 'Andrew Fearnley Memorial award", which is awarded to the player that plays the game with the same passion as Andrew did. Andrew's parents will be invited along to watch the match and pick the player for this prestigious club award which will be presented at presentation night later in the year. The Under 14s’s will be playing a modified game against some local “legends” (Parents). Let’s see which team can win. Normal game starting times but please be there earlier so that we can organise the teams.
If you cannot attend please let your coaches know.
This game is still important for skills and team building exercises and promotes the social side of the Club. We hope you can be there to support the day and our club.
Wear pink if you can...
