Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club has announced its football coaches for season 2011.
Gerard Kennedy will again be senior coach and after a disappointing end to season 2010 is keen to see the Seagulls fight for next season’s premiership.
Sean McGee has been handed the reserves job and brings a wealth of experience with him. After a long playing career which included two flags at Maffra, McGee, who has moved to Lakes is excited about being involved with the Seagulls coaching staff after a season as the senior runner.
The under 18s coach will again be local identity Kevin Stevens who has a great group of young players to work with.
Recruiting has been positive with four-time Heyfield Football Club best and fairest Andrew Stevens already committed to Lakes and playing with the Seagulls. There are a few others on the radar and announcements will be made soon.
Training has commenced on Monday and Wednesday & Friday nights at 6pm with coach Kennedy encouraging players to get along and get involved in the pre-season.
All in all things are looking fairly positive for season 2011 for the Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club.
