SWAN Hill's finals campaign came to an end in straight sets, thanks to a 52-point demolition by Tooleybuc Manangatang in Saturday's preliminary final.

ROUND one brought positive vibes for both of the Central Murray Football Netball League's game of the week teams tomorrow.
Tooleybuc Manangatang and Swan Hill have both had positive summers recruiting and enjoyed the fruits of their labour in round one against Nyah Nyah West and Koondrook Barham respectively.

Daryl Powell straps in for second stint at Tooleybuc-Manangatang

DARYL Powell was appointed Tooleybuc-Manangatang coach only in September, but he’s already bettered his first stint at the helm of the Saints.
“I lasted two weeks,” Powell said.
“That was way back in about 1987. We had a “meet the coach” day and a week later I got offered a job with AFL Vic and I was gone.
“I think I broke all the records at Tooleybuc.”

THE 2012 Central Murray Football Netball (CMFNL) League Jack Betts Medal count saw thrilling finishes to the league's two premier awards.

Coleman, or Nugget to his clubmates, has shown remarkable commitment to the club, after first signing with the Saints thanks to ties with an Assumption College school friend back in 1999.

TOOLEYBUC Manangatang were too strong for Swan Hill in Central Murray Football Netball under 15s action on Saturday.
Xavia Elford kicked a mammoth seven goals for the victors. The saints won through a great team effort, with best on ground honours going to Tyler Maloney, Caleb Stubbs, Joshua Domaille, Billy Bentley, Josh McKenzie and Cody Stobaus.

Tooleybuc Manangatang’s gun under 15s full forward will represent New South Wales at the national school-boys carnival in Canberra next month.
