This week we caught up with Tony "Crowbar" Stead for some footy chat.....
How long since you have played footy and has the game changed since then?
It's 33 years since I played - it was much more physical back then, now it's fast and furious. There seems to be a lot of sooks out there now, in my day we were much tougher!
Do you notice any change around the Club this year?
I've noticed a great change in the whole Club atmosphere - everyone seems happy and the social scene is very positive. Thursday nights and all the functions have been great. The photo walls are fantastic!
If you were to star in a movie, what would it be most likely be?
"Deep Throat" for sure.
Who do you tip to come runner-up in the Senior B&F? Hayden Harmer
What about B&F in the Ressies? Chris Gerkens
You are a known Richmond supporter, yet you came to the Theme Disco dressed as a Collingwood supporter. Was this a hard decision to make and why did you do it?
No, it wasn't hard to do because Granny always tells me I'm a loser.
You are trapped in a snowy mountain hut for a week with only a log fire and a bed. Who would you like to share the week with you?
I reckon Gloria Murray would be my choice , because she'd be a good hunter and gatherer.
Do you copy Jim Jess, or does he copy you?
He copies me for sure! The only difference between the two of us is that I'm a much better shearer than Jim.
