Jeff Mannix will lead the Club in 2009. As well as being President of the Lions Club and the Cricket Club, Jeff is also a local Councillor and plays a major role in the Shamrock Social Club. A Life Member, Jeff has a wealth of experience in the organisation of the Balranald Football Club, having had many roles over the years. On work days, Jeff can be found in his role as Office Manager at the Country Energy Office in Balranald, and in his spare time he goes home to wife Bella, and children Kris, Grant and Renee.

Vice President, Ian Bridgewood
Bridgey stepped down from the 2008 President's role but continues in 2009 as Vice President. Life Member, Ian, has been around the Club for many years and has been a staunch committeeman and volunteer for longer than most of us can remember. Together with partner, Josie, they have been number 1 supporters of the Roos. As local plumber, Bridgey often gets the rough jobs around the Club, but he continues to smile and get things done.
Vice President, Grant Campbell
Grant Campbell takes on joint VP role again this year. Grant is a major sponsor of the Club, along with his wife Joanne, and children Hayley and Ben. Grant travels many miles each week to work his timber mills, and is a fantastic supporter of the Club, organising many wood cuts for the Club's fundraising.
Football Operations, Marc Carter
Marc "Frizz" "Yo-Man" Carter - goes flat out 24/7, sleeps three hours a night and never stops working. Frizz is the photo king, keeps the Clubrooms spotless and runs an endless courtesy bus all year round. Twenty cans of Pepsi Max a day gives him more energy that Mr Energiser himself. After his work day at Balranald Shire Council office, Frizz occasionally goes home to wife Lynne, and his kids Dylan, Chloe and Brogan. Life Member and past B&F winner, Frizz is a real "tru roo".
Junior Rep, Mark Scott
Mark "Rat" Scott is a Life Member and past player who has been a very valuable Committee member of the Club for many years. Mark is also a Committee member of the Junior Football Club and acts as their rep on the senior committee. Mark and his partner Karen are great supporters of the Roos, together with kids Bree and Tyler. Mark takes on the role of ground marker again in 2009 and will be there every Friday afternoon before home games painting the white lines on the oval. Mark can be found on weekdays on the outdoor staff of the Balranald Shire Council.
Coach, Karl Jacka
As well as his role as Senior Coach, Karl Jacka also plays a vital role as a Committee member for BFC. Karl's enthusiasm for continual improvement of the Club is contagious and his involvement in all areas of sport in town is very positive. Born and raised in Balranald, Karl returned three years ago with his wife Cristy, and their experience in the wider world of football and netball has been very valuable to the Roos. The Club is sure to have a successful year, both on and off the field, if Karl has his way.
Social Manager, Woody Longford
Graham "Woody" Longford continues in the role of Social Manager this year. After a very successful year in 2008, Woody is always looking for new ideas to keep the fun rolling. After only three years in Balranald, Woody is now considered a local and won the award of "Clubman of the Year" in 2008. Woody and "Mini Me" Isaac, can always be found at the Club, working at whatever needs to be done. During workdays, Woody can be found amongst the kids at Balranald Central School.
Canteen Operations, Loretta Duryea
Loretta Duryea is a valuable Committee member who, together with Mrs P, run the happiest canteen in all the CMFL. Loretta is wife to Tony, the resident Colts boundary umpire, and mother to Ryan and Karlie. Loretta joined the Committee in 2008 and continues to work hard for the Club. In 2009, Loretta will be responsible for organising the fantastic Thursday night meals at the sheds that we've all come to love. Loretta works at the Balranald Takeaway, again cooking up a storm.
Committee, Jim Egan
Jim Egan has recently been accepted as a Committee member and both are keen to help out the Club this year. Jim has been a great worker and social supporter of the Club over the years and we look forward to the input from him during season 2009
Committee, Claude Jackson
Claude Jackson is also new to the Committee in 2009 keen to help out the Club this year. Claude has returned home to Balranald after many years away and has always been a loyal Roos supporter. His easy going nature and popularity in town is sure to be of great benefit to the Roos as the year goes on.
