This year the South Metro Junior Football League have awarded St Peters Football Club the honour of hosting the Under 13’s Interleague matches on Sunday 12 June.
We are seeking your help for Sunday 12 June and invite you to cheer our representative players .
Our club has never been offered the position of hosting Interleague, so we want to embrace this opportunity the best way we can. We want as many kids and parents to help us as possible.
Sunday 12 June is going to be a big and exciting day for our club. We are expecting in excess of 700 visitors to Centenary Park. The committee and the football department are spending many hours planning and organising to host an event of this size and calibre.
This year, with our 60th anniversary gala event on 22 July, we have decided not to run a trivia night. Therefore, hosting this event will provide us with an extraordinary fundraising opportunity to support the ongoing development of our players and club.
We understand the timing of the long weekend will be a challenge for us. However, if you could spare an hour or more, we would be very grateful. We have put together a roster and have asked all the team managers to help us fill it. We have allocated every team a time slot for the day to reduce the workload.
We will have our canteen running at full capacity and will have a further snack bar, coffee van and BBQ running on Oval 2. We will have marquees set up and their will be a formal presentation at the end of the day.
