Dragons' Girls to play exhibition match against Canadian Heritage Park Basketball Club side
Our older age Dragons’ Girls have been invited to play an exhibition match against a touring Canadian Heritage Park Basketball Club Team on Fri 4th September at our PCYC clubhouse. The touring side is scheduled to train prior to the game with tip off at 6:00 pm. Following the game, Dragons will entertain the touring girls with a sausage sizzle/BBQ in the PCYC barbecue area.
The Heritage Park Basketball Club (like the South Vancouver Island team before them) is touring South East Qld with games on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and Brisbane. The game against our Dragon’s team is only one of two in Brisbane, the other being against West Brisbane Falcons on the Saturday night 5th September.
Come along and show our Dragon’s Club spirit and support our girl’s team as they embark on another challenge against our compatriots from across the Pacific. You can come early and watch the touring girls train but please stay late and engage with the Heritage Park Girls in typical Dragons style swapping stories on our love of the game.
