Dragons provide half time entertainment at Capitals vs Gladstone QBL game

Your Committee thanks those members of our Dragon's community who took advantage of the free club evening admission to come along and support the Brisbane Capitals teams.  The night was well attended by parents, coaches and players from all age divisions in attendance.  Even Events Co-ordinator, Derani Greelish, organised a special event for some parents who were more intent on socialising with a quiet champagne and cheese and dips.

A huge thank you as well to two special groups of participants:

  • the official floor wipes who, amongst themselves, demonstrated whose bedrooms are the cleanest and whose needed more effort:
    • Ben Fracchia
    • Matt Richards
    • Tyler Greelish
    • Brandon Stanaway
    • Hunter Scofield
    • Ethan Scofield
    • Jesse Maclean
    • Jordan Greelish
    • Jacob Kjaeffe.
  • the half time games participants:
    • Players:
      • Tyler Greelish
      • Matt Greelish
      • Kai Young
      • Kaven Young
      • Matt Richards
      • Ben Fracchia
      • Brooke Baker
      • Isabel lane
      • Kira Lane
      • Gemina Dodgson
      • Kayley Dodgson
      • Sophie McNamara
    • Coaches:
      • Nic Fracchia
      • Nate Ross
      • Tom Coogan
    • Referees:
      • Tom Coogan
      • Hunter Scofield

The crowd was quite focussed on the contributions by all the players with not many of them leaving their seats between halves.  Tom showed that as a referee he makes a great President.  Coaches Nic and Nate need to be thanked for enticing Tyler with his post lay up celebrations!

All in all this was a great social evening.

Thank you everyone who attended!
