North Brisbane Basketball 2012 Sign On Day
North Brisbane Basketball Assn (Dragons Club) Sign on Day for 2012 will be held January 28th, 2012 at the PCYC from 10:00 till 2:00.
As we did in 2011, ALL registrations will be undertaken using our online form. Positions are available in all junior basketball teams from U8 to U18 and in senior social basketball teams via our alliance with the Qld University of Technology (QUT) Basketball. Because of changes instigated by Brisbane basketball, Under 20 competitions are no longer offered. Players 17 and older wanting to play in 2012 will need to apply to join a QUT Dragons team.

Once you have registered, we will email you a payment slip to take to the PCYC on your next visit. You can endorse your existing PCYC membership form if it is no more than 3 years old, or complete, print and bring along a new form to the PCYC. Despite proposed changes to BBI's fee charges to Clubs, as a result of the financial strength of the Club, Dragons Membership Fees and Fund Raising Levy remain unchanged at the same cost as 2009.
PCYC Membership Fees have been maintained at 2010 levels of $20 for Juniors, $30 for over 18's and $60 for Families. All Dragons and PCYC fees are payable to the PCYC by cash, cheque or EFTPOS or via EFT.
Junior Coaches and Training Times for weeks 1 to 4 will be available under the training menu on our website above prior to Sign On Day.
Junior Coaching Positions are available across various age groups and both genders. If you have basketball experience as a player or coach, please consider applying to coach a team. This is an ideal opportunity to develop a shared interest with your child. Older Age and Senior Players are also encouraged to volunteer as a coach, assistant coach or new specialty skills coach to meet our coaching needs. Players who coach get Dragons, QUT Dragons and PCYC membership and training concessions.
Junior Grading Season commences Friday 17th and Saturday 19th February (subject to availability of BBI courts).
Junior Grading Training commences the week of Monday 30th January. Check our website for training times.
B.L.A.S.T.™ 6eleven Term 1 Development Program commences Saturday 4th February. Participants are invited to register now for Term 1 by clicking here.
Merchandising of Club shorts, shirts and reversible training singlets is available. Shirts cost $25 each and Shorts and reversible singlets $30. All merchandising is payable by cash or cheque.
