Statement of Commitment to Child Safety

Yerrinbool-Bargo Soccer Club (YBSC) is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children and young people involved in its programs.

YBSC supports fostering a culture that embraces diversity, where children and young people from all upbringings feel valued, safe and a sense of belonging.

We are committed to child safety compliance, ensuring all people working with children at YBSC, are suitable and educated of their roles and responsibilities with regard to child safety and wellbeing.

YBSC has zero tolerance to child abuse, harm, neglect or negativity in any form. We strongly advocate for shared responsibility with respect to this approach and encourage our community to actively demonstrate behaviour that promotes a safe and positive environement, for our children and young people.

We are committed to the Child Safe Scheme, which outlines ten Child Safety Standards as defined by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian, and adopt a continuous improvement approach in ensuring YBSC proactively remains child safe.
