Coledale Waves has a long history (previous known as the Coledale rosebuds) in the area but the modern story is that after the Rosebuds became defunct the club was re-booted in 1994 with the hard work and sparce cashflow (including borrowed uniforms from another club!). Since that humble beginnings the Waves has grown from some very humble numbers to the current numbers where we have some 22 Junior teams, 3 Over-35 team, 1 Womens team and 1 Amatuer team which represents over 450 players with the Club and a very active participation by the local community
